Little Wallet
While I was at Quilt Expo in Portland last month, I spotted this cute pattern.
It was only $3.00, so I bought it.
Today was one of those “meh” days. You know, a day when you’re feeling kind of blue, but you’re not sure why? And you just can’t get motivated to work on anything, and nothing [...]
A girl’s night in
Ingredients: iron, starch, paintbrush, templates, pre-cut fabrics…
and an NCIS marathon.
Sluuurrrrp.
It made for a very productive evening – I got 18 blocks basted and ready!

Art imitating life?
Is it just me, or does this flower look like a quilt block?
Huh. Will you look at that.
It’s a “Seven Sisters” block. Might have to put this one on the bucket list, just because I love the plant so much!
Miniature feathered star

Or maybe a dogwood…
This one looks kind of like a gardenia or hibiscus.
I [...]

I can never have just one project to work on at a time. I have a tendency to get bored or frustrated with something, so I’ll put it down for a week or two and work on something else. [...]

Quiltopoly
There hasn’t been a whole lot of sewing or quilting going on at my house lately. But I still have Show & Tell!
Oh, yes they did. They made a quilt-themed version of Monopoly.
Lucas, one of my husband’s business partners, saw this and thought of me. He’s awesome. It was Christmas in July! Next time he [...]
Serendipity
I’ve been away from the sewing machine for a while, helping my husband build a deck onto the back of our house. It’s gorgeous, if I do say so myself! Wade did an awesome job. All that remains is adding some lattice trim and a couple of stairs. And the cleanup, of course. That’s my [...]
