  1. How about a tutorial for the little containers you made from the covered buttons and zipper? Those are just TOO CUTE! If that’s out of the question or a ways down the road, would you send me a note describing what you did? SWEET!

  2. I spent a few hours researching how to do a t shirt quilt and your tutorial is by far the best one I found! Thank you for sharing!

  3. I have been collecting collegiate sweatshirts for about a year to make a “sweatshirt” quilt for my 12 year old son. I am a capital “A” amateur at sewing. I found your tutorial and followed it to make the quilt. Though there are some glaringly bad measurements, and my 1/4 inch seam needs a lot more practice, I’m pretty darn proud of my attempt, and he loves it! Thank you.

    • We’re so glad the tutorial helped you create your t-shirt quilt! You state that there were some “glaringly bad measurements” – was there a problem within the tutorial? If so, please let me know so we can correct them. We check and double-check out tutorials to ensure accuracy, and will correct them immediately if there’s a problem.

  4. Today I was going through my clothes to decide what to keep and what to give away. I had put 13 t-shirts in the giveaway bag when I remembered how a friend, who is a big quilter, made t-shirt quilts for her kids and thought that I could probably do that even though I’ve never quilted. I rescued 8 of the t-shirts from the bag and then 6 more that I was going to keep and put them in my sewing area. Now I can go through all my t-shirts that I never wear and save them for quilts. I feel so much better knowing I don’t have to get rid of them.
I also looked at a bunch of tutorials and love yours. Now I hope I can make one and then two and then . . .

  5. Saw the quilt you did in Angela Walters class posted on craftsy. It is magnificent….bravo! You have inspired me to get my stash out and do something similar. Thank you!

    • Oh, Kathie, thank you SO much! I normally don’t post on classes – I never feel up to what the others are doing. It was an incredibly fun class, and she really gave me the confidence to just try without fear!

  6. I did it. I made a few errors. But it is being used in her dorm room. Thanks so much for your instructions. I would love to send you a picture.
