I hate all things bias. Totally suck at it. But my Dresden Plate quilt needs bias binding as the border will be done in a “wavy” style.
So when I found these directions I thought to myself, “Hey self, you only sew on the STRAIGHT of grain to make this. You can do this!”. Bought two yards of purple solid fabric a couple of weeks ago to use. Pulled it out. Followed the directions exactly. Turned out great!! However, I failed to read the “yardage requirements” (read: lazy) and now have over 40 yards of pretty purple binding!!
Guess I’d better get to work on some purple quilts……..
