A while back I fell in love with this quilt from Crazy Mom Quilts, so I made my own version. I think it’s turning out pretty well so far! *edited to add – if you want to make this quilt, here are the measurements.*

I studied Amanda’s quilt for a while. Hers is not as controlled as mine, I think I’m more OCD. I just HAD to align the blocks so the diamonds ran across the quilt in one direction.

This makes it look kind of argyle-y to me. I really like it, and best of all, I didn’t purchase any new fabrics – these were all in my stash! I used some pieces from the what-was-I-thinking-when-I-bought-this category.

This little booger kept jumping up in my shot. I had to stop taking pictures and go kiss his face off and tickle him as a punishment for being ornery.
I love it! The colors are so fun. A little of this, a little of that ~ and a cute kid to boot! I really like how you controlled the color with just enough white. It could have very easily gone over the edge. You’ve got such great color sense. ~ Cindi
