Peggi, you were right!

Just take a look at this.  Sewing on the borders was just the incentive I needed. Isn’t it wonderful!? I was squealing after I sewed those corners. I am SO dang excited to get this done now. Putting those borders on was just the push I needed. I’m now halfway through the last border, and am going to finish it while I sit and watch the movie Chicago tonight!

Cindi – wow, that turned out so GOOD!  I’m glad you got your mojo back!  It’s bee-yoo-tee-ful!

Did you use just two fabrics for the hourglass blocks?  I can almost see them at the bottom of the quilt, one of them seems almost reflective in the picture.

This quilt is a serious hindrance to my vow of completing all my WIPs before starting another quilt!

I did use two fabrics for the hourglass blocks. Muslin and a cream-on-cream I found at  Field’s Fabrics in their $2.97/yd. sale fabrics. I’ll get some close-up shots of the blocks when I get it finished. Didn’t hand- sew that last border at all last night though 🙁 because I was surfing blogs all evening!
